21st Century Community Learning Center Program

Mesquite Elementary is proud to offer the 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Program, an after-school learning opportunity designed to support student success both academically and socially. This program provides students with a safe, engaging environment where they can continue learning beyond the school day.

The 21st CCLC program focuses on academic enrichment, homework support, and hands-on learning experiences that reinforce what students are learning during the school day. Students participate in activities that strengthen their skills in reading, mathematics, science, and technology while also developing creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

In addition to academic support, the program offers a variety of enrichment opportunities, which may include art, physical activity, STEM projects, leadership activities, and team-building experiences. These activities help students build confidence, explore their interests, and develop important life skills.

Our goal is to provide students with meaningful learning experiences in a supportive and engaging environment that promotes academic growth, positive relationships, and a love of learning.

The Mesquite 21st Century program also values strong partnerships with families. We encourage parent and family involvement through communication, events, and opportunities to support student learning at home.

Through the 21st Century Community Learning Center program, Mesquite Elementary is committed to extending learning opportunities, supporting student achievement, and strengthening connections between school, families, and the community.
